Upon squeezing the metatarsal heads together the lesion is pushed plantar from in between the metatarsals. The lesion is highlighted to identify location.

Distal to the lesion there is a bifurcation of the nerve and the probe will then be positioned in between the two nerve branches. Therefore, not visualizing either branch. The linear, hyperechoic area within the lesion is nerve tissue.
